PC Razon When I first saw this unit, I have no doubt second to get it. I do a lot of short films for myself and my family and friends, but I need something to burn it in HD quality video. The AVCHD-DVD is too short and has a small capacity to a DVD-R to make. I've heard good things about Blu-ray and the people are eager to know if the MacBook Pro hardware can handle. Fortunately I have a gift, tried on my Macbook Pro .... VIOLA! It worked! I used Roxio Toast Titanium Pro for recording BD-R with my Macbook Pro on my netbook, the device worked (and I was using Windows XP Pro!). I can read files from the device. The disadvantage of burning files on my netbook for the Blu-ray is that it takes longer to burn them to disc. I never thought it took more than an hour and a half to burn 25 GB BD-R 4x (using the latest software from Nero Burning, I forgot the version number), but still worth it! I would recommend for people who like to make videos on your Mac and the writer needs to make a high-definition video on a Blu-ray. See all 1 customer reviews ....
